Conference on Measuring and Achieving UHC with ICT in Asia and the Pacific
On December 2-3, 2014, ADB, WHO and AeHIN will be holding a Conference on Measuring and Achieving UHC with ICT in Asia and the Pacific. This will engage government officials from multiple sectors (health, finance, planning, statistics, ICT), development partners and experts to share experiences and review the current evidence on cost-benefit and impact of various ICT-enabled health services and information systems. Around 125-140 participants from 20 Asia-Pacific countries will participate in plenary and panel discussions, parallel sessions, meet the experts open forum, displays to discover critical issues related to monitoring and evaluation of UHC and role of ICT-enabled health information systems may play in it.
This meeting aims to:
1) Review current evidence on cost, benefit and impact of ICT solutions in health systems for better monitoring and faster progress towards UHC.
2) Facilitate development of evidence-informed country specific business case of ICT-enabled health systems that maximize value for money
